How the Flow Works, Step by Step

  1. Catalog cover and a button storefront.
  2. Product card: “Add to Cart” or “Back”.
  3. The bot adds up the cart total.
  4. The cart can be cleared or checked out.
  5. City and delivery branch, phone.
  6. Online payment right in the chat.
  7. The order goes to your chat right away marked “awaiting payment”, then “🛍 New paid order” once paid; the buyer gets a “Buyer” tag.

  • Set product names and prices in the bot fields.
  • Need more products? Copy a product card and add a button to the storefront.
  • Connect a payment provider in the bot settings.
  • Use the “Buyer” tag for broadcasts and review requests.
  • An order is two messages in your chat (“awaiting payment” and “🛍 New paid order”), and Telegram allows up to 20 messages a minute in one group chat. If you get more than 10 orders a minute, send paid orders to a separate chat.

Recommendations

  • We recommend shipping only after the “🛍 New paid order” message, because the first message reaches your chat before payment.
  • We recommend using the “Buyer” tag for review-request broadcasts, because then only people who actually paid get the message.

What the Template Doesn't Do

  • Online payment works once a payment provider is connected in the bot settings.
  • The bot doesn't track stock: any product can go into the cart, and you check availability.
  • An order is two messages in your chat (“awaiting payment” and “🛍 New paid order”), and Telegram allows up to 20 messages a minute in one group chat; with more than 10 orders a minute, it's better to send paid orders to a separate chat.

Payment

The bot issues an invoice to pay right in the chat. For example, paying for an order by card or with Telegram Stars.

To team chat

The bot sends a message to your team chat or channel. For example, to notify staff about a new request.

Save value

Saves a value to use later. For example, store the chosen city and then insert it into messages.

Calculator

Calculates using a formula and remembers the result. For example, work out the discounted order total or the delivery cost.

List (cart)

Collects chosen items into a cart list: add, remove or clear. For example, the customer picks products with buttons and the bot shows the cart and total.

Tag

Adds or removes labels on the customer. For example, mark bought or interested in delivery, then use labels to build a mailing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many products can the shop have?

The template has two sample products. To add more, copy a product card in the editor and add a button to the storefront; names and prices go into Bot Fields.

How does the buyer pay?

With an invoice right in the Telegram chat: connect a payment provider in the bot settings. After payment, “New paid order” lands in your chat with the cart, total, address and phone.

How does the bot add up the cart?

The “Calculator” block sums the prices of everything in the cart. If a price in Bot Fields isn't a number, the bot apologises to the buyer and sends you a warning in the chat.
