Telegram Bot for Selling an Online Course for Stars
Who It's For and What It Solves
For authors of courses, workshops and intensives who sell access by hand and send lessons one by one. The bot tags buyers “Bought Course”, delivers lessons on schedule and asks for a rating at the end; feedback after a low rating is saved in the contact card. For buyers, /start always opens a menu with all lessons.

How the Flow Works, Step by Step
- A course video.
- The outline, the price and a “Buy the Course” button.
- An invoice in Telegram Stars — no payment provider needed.
- The “Bought Course” tag; lesson 1 at once.
- Lesson 2 a day later, lesson 3 another day later.
- A 1–5 course rating.
- For buyers /start opens a menu with all lessons.
What to Adjust for Your Business
- Fill in the title, outline, price in Stars and video links in the bot fields. Share lessons as links (YouTube, Google Drive): Telegram forwards videos by link only up to 20 MB.
- Telegram requires bots to answer the /paysupport command: create a separate scenario started by the paysupport command — for example from the “Support Ticket Desk with Live Agent” template.
- The “Your course” menu opens all three lessons at once — remove the buttons if you want strict day-by-day access.
- Stars for the course go to the bot’s balance in Telegram.
- Feedback after a low rating is saved in the course_feedback variable (for a second course on the same bot — course_feedback_2, and so on) — you’ll see it in the contact card in Contacts.
Recommendations
- We recommend creating a flow started by the paysupport command right away, because Telegram requires bots that take payments to answer /paysupport.
What the Template Doesn't Do
- Lessons are links (YouTube, Google Drive and so on): Telegram forwards videos by link only up to 20 MB.
- The “Your course” menu opens all three lessons at once; for strict day-by-day access, remove the menu buttons.
