Telegram Bot That Trades a Guide for an Email and Nurtures Leads
Who It's For and What It Solves
For experts, online schools, coaches and consultants who give away guides and checklists in channel posts. Instead of “DM me”, the bot collects the email with a format check, sends the file and three days later gently asks whether a consultation would help. Sending “guide” again doesn't trigger a second email request.

How the Flow Works, Step by Step
- Starts when the message contains “guide” or “checklist”.
- Email with format check.
- The guide file arrives in the chat; the “Downloaded Guide” tag is added.
- After 1 day — a useful tip.
- After 3 days — a consultation offer.
- “Yes” sends the lead with the email to your chat.
- The trigger word again — the guide once more and the nurture from the same step, no second email request.
What to Adjust for Your Business
- In your channel post, write: “Send the bot the word GUIDE”.
- Upload the guide and set its link and title in the bot fields.
- Change the trigger words if you offer a checklist or a lesson instead.
- If the person is in the middle of another scenario, the word works after it ends or after /start.
- /start restarts the conversation with the bot and stops the nurture. The person returns to it by sending the trigger word (“guide”) again: we won’t ask for the email twice and will continue where they left off.
- A new guide — change its title in the bot fields: people who got the previous one will go through the flow again (email, file, nurture).
Recommendations
- We recommend putting a direct instruction in your channel post, such as “Send the bot the word GUIDE”, because that word is what starts the flow.
What the Template Doesn't Do
- /start restarts the conversation and stops the nurture; the person returns to it by sending the trigger word again.
